Discover How EMDR Can Change Your Life

You’re tired of talking about it — you just want to feel better.

If you’ve done all the right things (therapy, journaling, mindfulness) but still feel stuck in anxiety or guilt, EMDR therapy can help your body finally let go of your old story.

Online EMDR Therapy might be a good fit if you are:

  • Feeling you have to hold everything together for everyone…your kids, your partner, your home…at the expense of yourself

  • Noticing triggers from your own upbringing coming up in the way you parent your children

  • Finding betrayal, loss, childhood neglect, or emotional invalidation from your past is affecting current relationships

  • Fearing rejection, judgment, or not being heard making it difficult to feel safe being vulnerable

  • Feeling stuck, paralyzed, indecisive, or “frozen” despite wanting to move forward or change how you react or feel

EMDR therapy helps you find real relief by healing what’s underneath, not by rehashing every painful detail.

Imagine waking up calm instead of on edge.

Healing that Meets You Where You Are

HOW EMDR THERAPY WORKS

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps you to gently process experiences that may still be affecting how you feel, react, and relate today.

  • We will start by talking about what has been feeling challenging or out of balance and will find ways to help you feel more calm and at ease. We will work together to create simple calming practices, peaceful mental images, and coping skills you can lean on whenever you need a sense of calmness or safety, whether in session or in your everyday life.

  • Together we will gently explore the experiences and old stories that still feel heavy or keep showing up in your life today. This will help us to better understand how they’ve been shaping the way you see yourself and start creating space for new, more supportive beliefs.

  • We will use guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation like tapping or sound to help your brain reprocess difficult memories so they no longer hold the same emotional weight.

We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable to you. You don’t have to retell every detail of what happened. Our goal is helping your nervous system to find relief and balance in the present.

  • As we move through the process, the emotional weight of the past will begin to feel a little lighter. The stories you’ve carried about yourself will start to change too. Imagine moving from thinking “I’m a failure” to “I’m capable, and I learn and grow from my experiences” or from “Everything is my fault” to “I can take responsibility for my part and let go of the rest”.

  • Over time, the things that once felt overwhelming can feel less tense and you may notice that triggers don’t hit as hard. You can feel calmer, think more clearly, and start to live in the moment, embracing the present and free from the weight of the past.

This is your permission slip to heal what’s underneath and finally move forward.
