Meet Natasha

Natasha Turner, LCSW-S, LCDC

Natasha believes that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Therapy is not about having someone take over your life, but is about learning to take control of your own path through making positive changes. Natasha uses her intuition, enthusiasm, and sense of humour to form authentic, trustworthy relationships with her clients. She is both direct and non-judgemental in her approach. As her clients go on their journey through life, Natasha walks beside them offering tools to help them remove obstacles they encounter along the way. Although she is there to help clients heal, she maintains the position that her clients are the experts in their lives. By allowing the clients to be their true selves in therapy sessions, Natasha empowers them to be the best version of themselves in their everyday lives. She cares for her clients and wants the best quality of life for them.

Natasha integrates a number of evidence-based theories and practices into her work with clients that she tailors to her client’s individual concerns and goals for therapy. Some of these include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness based, person centered, and solution focused modalities. Natasha strives to make the therapy room a safe place to do the challenging work of self-discovery. She encourages clients to set healthy boundaries and goals to enhance their lives and improve the way they feel.

Natasha is known for advocating for what is in her clients’ best interest, her compassion, and her down to earth nature. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, going for walks, baking, and making crafts.
